About Power 945

Power 945 went on the air in 1999 with dialup and played a CHR, TOP 40 format.  We were around till 2003 when we decided that due to the lack of high speed internet it was best to call it quits.  Fast Forward to 2011, when our passion had shifted to our love for all things of Asia culture (Anime, Gaming, Kpop) and we have been on the air since then.

We started broadcasting at 32K Mono to be data friendly before the era of unlimited mobile data.  In 2021, we expanded with fiber internet and are now broadcasting at 128K Stereo.  We attend several conventions a year with our partner Convention Video and have become a staple in the convention scene.  We hope you will enjoy our programing and we are always open to feedback from our listeners!
